Our story
In the heart of Lamberts Bay, South Africa, Culture of Brave Academy emerged in response to a pressing need: the pervasive despair gripping our communities.
With staggering unemployment rates, rampant substance abuse, and widespread poverty, hope was scarce, and opportunities even scarcer. The challenges in the community were daunting:

50% of caregivers are unemployed.

76% depend on social grants for their livelihood.

Our Mission
We recognized the urgent need to break the cycle of poverty and offer hope for a brighter future.
Our mission was clear.
To empower South African youth through comprehensive personal development training to take control of their future and thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Driven by a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of mindset and opportunity, we launched Culture of Brave Academy to provide a pathway to success for those overlooked and underserved.

Our TEAM
Retha Els is our fearless Director at Culture of Brave Academy. She is the driving force behind our mission to empower South African youth. With a vision to uplift those in challenging circumstances, she leads with passion and determination.
Our team comprises of experienced professionals in executive coaching and leadership training. All team members are certified SETA coaches and facilitators, bringing a wealth of experience in business mentorship.
